I'm a cute hairy thing all the way from Spain

Yep, this is me, Emilie.

I is the cutest thing on earth says my woman. I like that. I have had different days in my life you know?

I am born and raised to be a Spanish left over, dumped in the woods, shot tru the heads hunting dog. I is a proud Podenco girl. And as all (other than the Spanish) Podenco bosses know, we are a very sweet, loyal, a bit shy and full on cuddle-lover dogs.

Unfortunately we are bread by the thousands in circumstances you really don't want to know about. I was a lucky girl. I have been used for hunting and breeding, but unlike most of my friends and family, I haven't been shot after they didn't need me anymore. I was dumped on the streets. Or maybe I just walked away... who knows?

My woman found me stashed away in a really really big pound in Malaga. There were hundreds of dogs there and it is a true miracle how she managed to find me!! Boy was I lucky! I still am!

I was one of the older dogs, somewhere around 8 or so when my womam adopted me.

Well, I just wanted to let you know I am a very very very happy and lucky dog. I had lived a loveless life and than out of nowhere this sweet thang adopted me. We are best friends. We love each other to bits. Every where my woman goes I make sure to follow her closely. Because I do not ever want to loose my woman.

Have you seen the movie The Lakehouse? With Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock? That dog in the movie looks exactly like me, but my ears are more down. This way I can hear better.
